Blue Dragonfly
My Blue Dragonfly Large oval dishes are thrown on the pottery wheel and altered when they have had the chance to dry out. When the pieces have dried a little more I add the small feet to the bottom. Finally I begin painting with my colorful palette of under-glazes to light the form up. My last step is to carve areas on the design to accentuate my painting. This large oval dish looks wonderful sitting on a counter with napkins or for serving that perfect side dish. We love filling our oval dish with salsa for taco night.
