Orange Wave Three Blue Fish
My orange wave three blue fish largeoval dishes are thrown on the pottery wheel and altered when they have had the chance to dry out. When the pieces have dried a little more I add the small feet to the bottom. Finally I begin painting with my colorful palette of under-glazes to light the form up. My last step is to carve areas on the design to accentuate my painting. This large oval dish looks wonderful sitting on a counter with napkins or for serving that perfect side dish. We love filling our oval dish with salsa for taco night.
