Peach Wave on Aqua
My Peach Wave on Aqua small oval dishes are thrown on the pottery wheel and altered when they have had the chance to dry out. When the pieces have dried a little more I add the small feet to the bottom. Finally I begin painting with my colorful palette of under-glazes to light the form up. My last step is to carve areas on the design to accentuate my painting. This small oval dish looks wonderful sitting on a counter, coffee table, or any where to hold that special something. Kristin uses them to hold cotton balls in the bathroom and a sponge in the kitchen. I love serving and eating guacamole out of my small oval dishes.
